The HAECO Shoe Bag

In 2024, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Limited (HAECO) had a bunch of worn-out employee work clothes that they didn’t know what to do with. With sustainability in mind, HAECO reached out to Dress Green to help solve the problem.

Partnered, we crafted a shoe bag, blending practicality with modern style. The shoe bag features a front zip for easy access, catering to employees that like going to the gym. This bag is created utilizing HAECO’s recycled uniforms, making sure that nothing goes to waste. They demonstrate the company’s commitment to environmental protection.

These bags are gifted to employees as a thanks you gift for their hard work, a practical item that can be used in daily life.

HAECO’s Sustainability Day

A series of free-flow workshops was held during HAECO’s sustainability day. During the event, Dress Green showcased the different ways to upcycle unused fabric. HAECO employees had fun with the eco-friendly solutions and hands-on workshops, ranging from fabric greeting cards to handbags made from old t-shirts. Participants created meaningful souvenirs that are not only creative but also environmentally friendly. Dress Green provided over 100 fabric samples to choose from, as well as guidance from the designers, teaching participants step by step.
